MSP Supplementary Benefits (previously MSP Premium Assistance)

If you qualify for Supplementary Benefits through MSP, you can receive acupuncture for $10-20 (sliding scale) at TheAcuHub!

We direct bill MSP the eligible $23 towards 10 acupuncture sessions/year, so you can pay less ($10-20 out of pocket) and come more often.

Please note there is a $10 New Patient Consult Fee for first time visits.

We have a 12hr cancellation policy. Late cancellations and missed appointments with less than 12hrs will be subject to a $25 fee (not billable to MSP).

Please note: MSP Supplementary Benefits does not cover cupping sessions, only acupuncture.

ICBC Claims

The Acupuncture Hub now provides direct billing for patients on ICBC claims.

For patients who have been in accidents on or after April 1, 2019 this means:

• You are automatically qualified for up to 12 acupuncture treatments which can be billed to ICBC at no out of pocket cost to you

  • Treatments can consist of acupuncture, cupping, or both

• Treatments must occur in the 12 weeks immediately following your accident

  • If it has been more than 12 weeks since your accident you can still receive treatment but you must first be pre approved by your ICBC claims adjuster

• Extensions may be granted to continue beyond 12 treatments on a case by case basis

For patients who are on existing claims for accidents which occurred before April 1, 2019 you must first get pre approval for treatments from your ICBC claims adjuster.

Pacific Blue Cross & Extended Health Insurance

The Acupuncture Hub only direct bills to PACIFIC BLUE CROSS. However, we provide receipts which can be submitted to other insurance companies for reimbursement.
